Perfect....

.............. going out on a limb.......

I'd like to start off by apologizing. (I don't know why I am....)
For my bad spelling. (I swear I used spell check.)
For speaking my mind a bit much at times. (Beleave me,at times I do hold back.)
For having at times, boring posts. (I'm really a newbie at this remember.)
For being sarcastic. (Sarcasm doesn't always come across like I mean it on a blog.)

On a lighter note, wouldn't it be funny if I ran into David Archuelta at the airport in Houston? He's performing at the Sun Bowl the day before in El Paso.
Just thought I'd through that out there.
People magazine featuring Kevin's wedding comes out tomorrow.

This picture is prob my favorite so far from this trip.

I really do love it up here, but next time I'm bringing you all with me.

How did I just break a nail opening a soda can?

Snow boarding and tubing tomorrow.

ha.....I love cafepress.com

Could the town get any smaller?

So today we went and explored some local towns.
We didn't know what we were geting ourself into....
We went to a town called Como. It had to be the smallest town in North America, not to mention the fact there was not a single human being to be found. Apparently the town 'shuts down' and no one comes out of their houses. It reminded me of the movie The Village. No joke.
And the travel brochure made it sound so big and eventful...... it was wrong I guess.
And all the outhouses. I thought we lived in the 21st century... maybe they don't.
Oh and then the next town (I can't remember the name) was even SMALLER. Something we didn't think was possible... there were some cats.... that was about it...
So we decided to go back to Fairplay and checked out the snowboard rental stuff and bought some t-shirts and hoddies. Such tourists

Tomorrow we're going to Breckenridge (Breck as the locals call it) to go snowboarding and maybe even tubing. Now tubing sounds boring I know, but its really cool. You get launched out this tube and then once you get to the end you get hocked on a cable and get pulled back up. There's even night tubing. Even cooler.

Side note: Breck hosted the Winter Dew Tour last week. Sad I missed that. Maybe Sean White is still hanging around town... hehehehe.

Ok,we're about to play Monopoly. Again.
Pics of adventures soon :)

It warmed up....

And  because it warmed up,and the snow packed a little bit better,we went sledding.
My snowman didn't turn out so well, maybe tomorrow.

We're going on a train ride thru the Royal Gorge tomorrow. It should look pretty awesome with all the snow...

Being a freaky geek.....

Last Friday I had the joy of attending the 10th annual Freaks and Geeks event at Seminole State College of Florida. Better known as SCC.
It was like walking into to a miniature comic con. And I loved it. Of course there was in the inevitable not so welcomed guest. But hey,its a public event. Can't control that now can we?
I also got to compete in a photography challenge. Along with getting some great tips and complements from some amazing local photographers. And as my last post showed,I won second place. There was some fierce competition. But I clammed my wining spot. Just know.It wasn't easy.

This year has gone by SO FAST. I can't beleave in just a couple weeks the new year is here.
I leave on the 25th for my trip and then 8 days after I get back is Amy and Frays wedding.
Oh so many weddings.....
Check back on the blog for frequent updates about my trip. Maybe the uploading of videos will work by then....
Does daily blogging make up for the fact of not bringing back souvenirs for friends? I sure hope so.
Guys I'm saving my money for a car,not a postcard and random rocks magically in the shape of animals.

In any case, thanks for reading this.
I'll love you even more if you comment.
163 days till I'm officaly an aunt.
25 days until Amy and Frays wedding.
10 days until Colorado.

Just because you're all wearing camo, doesn't mean people won't notice that The Jonas Brothers are at a football game.
Especially considering you're standing in the side lines......

The Grammy Nominations

Live Grammy Nomination Blogging

OK,so its not live because I'm waiting on our WI-fi router to come in the mail. But this is close enough.

9:10-George Lopez announcing song of the year nominations.
They must have shown Joe and Kevin at least 7 times already.
Joe was even smiling when they announced Taylor as a nomination. Weird.

9:17-Sugarland performing.

9:20-Hey its Bono.
Pop Duo or Group with Vocals nominations.

9:22
OH SNAP.

9:27
OK.....As I try to calm down....
Nick Jonas and The Administration.
The best thing since Google.
I'm officially impressed. And Kevin and Joe could not have looked more proud.
It was amazing.
Now excuse me and I check iTunes to see if the songs up there yet.
In the meantime,Google the performance.

9:30
Michael Jackson tribute I think. Yea something like that.
Maxwell doing a tribute-like performance.
Well he is certainly hitting those high notes.

9:36
Katy Perry. Ew.
Nominations for Best Rock Album.

9:39
T-Pain.
Nominations for Best Rap Solo Performance.

9:44
It was the back of Kevin's head. And was that his mom? He would bring his mom and not his future wife? Maybe Denise wanted to be there because of nicks performance. Yea thats its,or maybe it wasn't even her.

9:46
Nominations for best Country Performance with Duo or Group with Vocals.

9:48
That was defiantly Denise.
9:49
Its Ringo! And hes wearing a Michael Jackson shirt.
Nominations for Record of the year.
Taylor deserves that award. And she just might win it.

9:52
Nominations for Album of the year.
Again with the Taylor thing.
Heres my question. Whats the difference between Record and Album of the year?

Tune in Sunday, January 31st for the 52nd Grammy Awards!

Good music.John Mayer.

I'm a big John Mayer fan,and I must say.Live in Los Angeles is by far,my favorte album of his.
It's 2 disks of pure awesomeness.
Not to mention his INCREDIBLE talent in the guitar field.
I haven't had the chance to listen to his new album, but I'm sure its amazing.
