Funny how things change.....

Well we've successfully survived half the picture challenge.
That was a nice change for this dusty blog of mine.
Lets see if I make it all the way through.

Been reading other peoples old blog posts again (Bad habit).
Funny how things change the way they do. Always unexpectedly too.

So many things to look forward to this year. Graduating for one. Then off to pioneering.
And even though its a while away,I look forward to going to Ecuador next year!!
After watching the Ecuadorian Sign Language video it looks like I'll understand that more than Spanish itself.
Ridiculous isn't it?
Why am I not grasping Spanish? Yet I'm grasping other languages that don't even use the same alphabet we do.
Ok,ok...so maybe not grasping at the current moment but at least I get it.
I think all the pod casts I've listened to and the video pod casts as well are responsible for this.
Everyone has a different way they learn. My way is apparently though my iPod.
Having a "foreign language" notebook on hand is quite nice too. Although mine is a bit big....might transfer to journal size. If you just write down everything in every pod cast you soon have an entire collection of phrases.
Just try to pick a language that they acutely make pod casts for. Wish someone had given me that advice.
But don't let that stop you. And don't let peoples opinions of "what is needed where" or "whats so-called 'practical' " stop you. If you love the language and if it does require a move to get to a place its needed, then so what. Thats up to you.

In any case learning a language is quite exciting.....

Maybe I should really attempt to put more effort into my Spanish before next year.
But first I need a job to pay for my trip..and my car....and the gas my car likes to eat up....and anything else.
Until then feeding horses will have to do..... can I consider something I love to do a job?
Maybe.

I found my planner finally.
Yes I lost it yet again.
I can see how long I've lost it for by looking at how many days are empty.
I guess I lost it some where between school last week and yesterday when I found it.
I feel like there's all these things I didn't get to write down...maybe they're lost forever...or at least until I realize I missed something or something passed I was supposed to remember.
Its bound to happen.

Ah how beautiful my Josh Groban tickets look hanging here. All freshly printed. By the time the concert comes they'll probably be faded. Oh well.....good concerts you seem to have to buy tickets for long in advance.

Au revoir
